CMS Design for Rock Project

In late September 2012 we were approached by Cosmograf, a Progressive Rock Project, to create a new Content Management System (CMS) Website in time for the release of their new album.

Cosmograf stipulated that they wanted to provide easy access to the Music and Video content for website visitors and also specified the look and feel they wanted the final site to achieve.  A key requirement for this website was that Cosmograf wanted to be able to update the website themselves to add and update Music, Videos, and add to the Cosmograf Blog without any specialist web-coding.

We delivered a Content Management System based on WordPress – and seamlessly embedded existing Cosmograf Music and Cosmograf Video content located on both SoundCloud and YouTube.  We also imported the pre-existing Cosmograf Blog which was hosted on a third-party website.

Also included as part of this project is a full e-commerce solution for direct sales of music albums and Cosmograf merchandise.

To encourage fan interaction and comments on the Cosmograf Blog, fans can login with one click and via their pre-existing Facebook, Twitter, Google, and Blogger accounts.

The new website was completed and made live prior to the release of the next Cosmograf Album.
